Accounting Features

Accounting BITS client/server business solution has been designed to empowers people - from entry-level clerks to top-level executives - to assist in the management, control, and analysis of information from disparate sources.

The Ledger Module is the Accounting heart of the system.
It provides not only real time access to the chart of accounts figures but also holds the Payments and Credits screens, Ledger Entry screens and all financial reporting.
The payments screen design has been able to shorten the payments for a business with about 800 customers and monthly invoices of around 1200, from 1.5 to 3 days down to 3 hours.
All credits can be allocated on the same screen as can Group Company or Head Office accounts, giving you a full visual representation of each customers current outstanding's at a glance.
All Accounts can have individual Budgets as can Customers and Stock Items.

The Invoice Module allows entry and editing of invoices and other sales, printing of invoices & statements, live lookup of sales history and tracking of invoice and freight details with just a double click of the mouse. Full sales reports are also included.
Special Stock pricing can be indexed for individual customers to allow automatic price entry in the invoice.
Tax levels, sales areas and sales rep's codes for customers, group companies and/or stock items can also be set automatically.
Stock levels are continuously checked during invoice entry with on-screen warnings indicating low stock levels.
Unlimited stock locations are also catered for.
Goods can be dispatched directly from the invoice screen and/ or stored for dispatch from the Dispatch Module.

The Dispatch Module is for real time shop floor dispatch areas. Able to call up an invoice for dispatch as soon as it is entered, the module is designed for high volume dispatch businesses requiring one or more dispatchers working on orders entered at the Invoice Module.
The Dispatch Module is designed to automatically display all orders and backorders ready for filling, produce the appropriate delivery dockets and shipping labels, update stock records and customer details. It also handles charged and real freight costs for separate reporting.
Areas are provided for keeping shipping details where via multiple carriers and destinations for the same customer.

Manufacture BITS

Manufacturing BITS was designed for production area use to give real time information and feedback on production requirements, movement of stock, start of production, finish of production and quantities.
Printouts of production schedules and performance reports are also available from this module.

Purchase BITS

The Purchase Module is the heart of the stock control area.
This module provides detailed purchase order entry with extensive find and print capabilities for both stock and non stock items. Multiple letter heads, calculation of weights and volumes, sales tax statements, delivery date tracking and purchase comments are also catered for.Speed screens are available for entry of arrived goods by any criteria (based on murphy's law of little or no paper work with goods arriving) allowing identification of any or all orders relating to particular stock at a glance. Internal stock transfers are also catered for in the same way.The Stock detail screen provides full access to all detailed information for stock items. Alternative names, stock at other locations, special pricing, components for manufactured items and stock Budgets. Serialisation and labour components for each item is also included.
A special feature is the ability to set different Ledger accounts for Sales, Current Stock and Cost of Goods for each stock item if required as well as separate tax codes for purchasing and sales. All year to date figures are available at a glance. The correct setup of your minimum stock levels allows the automatic ordering section to take a lot of the pain from keeping your stock levels to the desired quantities.The manufacturing section not only sets up your work in progress files for manufacture but will automatically generate purchase orders for stock required based on minimum stock requirements and delivery times.

System BITS
The System Module handles all data maintenance, setup of remote server datafiles, end of year rollover, data transfers and data import functions.
